The Free-Masons Anthem, which was sung several times at
laying the foundation of the New Exchange at Edinburgh.
  Grant me, kind heav'n, what I request:
  In masonry let me be blest:
  Direct me to that happy place,
  Where friendship smiles on ev'ry face;
     Where freedom, and sweet innocence,
     Enlarge the mind, and chear the sense.
